Biography
Jennifer is program officer for Foundation Special Projects, where she manages discretionary and flexible funding portfolios in support of the president's strategic priorities across environmental conservation, scientific discovery, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
She brings fourteen years of experience in philanthropy and the nonprofit sector, with a background in grantmaking, strategic planning, program design, operations, and board support.
Before joining the foundation, Jennifer spent seven years at the China Medical Board Foundation and served as chief operating officer of The Equity Initiative, where she helped design and launch an Atlantic Fellows program. She has also held roles in academic programming at the University of Colorado-Boulder and Harvard's Asia Center.
A native of northwestern Pennsylvania, Jennifer holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Connecticut College and an M.A. from Harvard.
